Stackt Market

Pop-up Gallery
at Work/Shop

28 Bathurst St

Good Friday
Friday April 19, 2019

Easter Monday
Monday April 22, 2019

I was lucky enough to pop up in the brand new STACKT Market Work/Shop space! STACKT is built from over 120 shipping containers, taking unused land and creating a platform for curated, inspired experiences.  It's a cultural lifestyle market mixed with a community meeting hub, and I set up a full pop-up gallery within the creative entrepreneurial Work/Shop space.  It all happened super fast - STACKT asked me on Wednesday afternoon and I popped up on Friday morning! Such a cool experience! Thanks so much to everyone who came out to see my work and explore STACKT - I hope to be invited to show there again soon :)

Black Cat Artspace  - Showroom

Salon of Inclusiveness

Black Cat Artspace  - Showroom
1785 St Clair Ave West

December 6th 2018 –
January 17th 2019

Opening Receptions:
December 6th, 2018
7pm - 10:30pm

December 7th, 2018
7pm - 10:30pm

Thrilled to be showing TWO pieces at the brand new Black Cat Artspace - Showroom! This space is already special to me - I actually helped with the drywall and the painting in preparation for this inaugural show! Please note, this is an affordable art show, with all artwork under $500 - what a great way to get some holiday shopping in while supporting local artists!

From Black Cat, here's what this show is all about:

"The Salon of Inclusiveness is a playful and positive take on the Salon des Refusés. In 1863 two thirds of paintings submitted for the Paris Salon were refused by the conservative French Academy. Rejected work included that by artists such as Courbet, Édouard Manet, Camille Pissaro and Johan Jongkind, whose work didn’t align with traditional tastes. So many artists protested this vast rejection, that a new exhibition was organized – the ‘Salon desRefusés’, held in another part of the Palais de Industrias. The attention from this event undermined the French Academy and served to legitimize the emerging forms of avant-garde art."

Thursday October 25th,
7-10pmI'm very proud to be showing three unique pieces at the
6th Annual Gravenfeather
In The Round show.

This is a special show - all work must be completed on the 3 wooden disks provided. Each disk is 6" in diameter, and all work is priced at $65 with $55 going to the artist and a $10 commission to the gallery. In other words, these are little works that you can definitely find a place for, at a price that you can afford.  This is the perfect show to acquire fresh, new art from local emerging artists. My contributions are below! Had fun experimenting this with media...
